How expensive is this service?
Presently JBAtkins Consulting offers two base packages:

Business card site

A Business card site is a site that offers information on your company, product and/or service, and general descriptions of what your company provides. This can include directions to your company, information about the staff, images of your products, testimonials, or whatever information you want to convey about your company. This type of site can be very useful in creating additional clients who are unaware of what you have to offer or where you are located. It can also create a communication link between you and current clients. Providing them information and contacts.

E-Commerce site

An E-Commerce site does all that a Business card site does but also gives you the opportunity to do business on the Web. Using custom forms we can create a way for clients to request your product or service on-line. If you want us to create a more detailed web-store we can do so. Additional pricing is involved with web-store programming and will be priced based on specifications. With an E-Commerce site you can also provide database applications to clients and employees to access account information, inventory, and other data retrieval needs. Database programming and setup is priced on specifications and database size.

  Search Engine Optimization - Putting a web site up on the internet is only a part of the total strategy in providing a web presence for your company. In order for people to know your site is there they have to be able to find you. The most important way to announce your presence is with search engine portals. If you wanted to find a product or service on the internet how would you go about doing that? Search portals like Yahoo, Goggle, and MSN provide a way for you to do this. You simply enter a search word or phrase in one of their search engines and it will return a list of sites that contain those words. An inherit problem is the number of sites they return. You may receive tens or even hundreds of thousands returns. The average person will only look at the first few pages. About 40% will only look at the first page of results. How do you get your site to show up in first few pages of results? That is were Search Engine Optimization plays an important part. There are several ways to do this and JBAtkins Consulting has the experience to help

. *If you own a domain name you can deduct $15.00 from the package and renewal costs. If you need help with domain name DNS changes JBAtkins Consulting will assist at no cost.

Is there bandwidth and storage restrictions?
Yes - Storage is controlled by us and normally will not be issue. If you have a large database or very large image storage requirement at the start we will discuss and agree on any price difference. As a rule the price change if any will be minimal. If you grow to a point where storage becomes an issue neither of us will complain about a small price increase in storage usage.
On bandwidth, we all hope that it will become an issue. Again, if bandwidth grows to a point were we need to discuss it neither of us will complain.

For our agreement purpose the following is used:
Business Card Site:
  2GB storage   20GB bandwidth monthly

E-Commerce Site:
  5GB storage   50GB bandwidth monthly

What if I just want to make a small change to my site, will it cost?
No - Small text changes on site will be completed at no cost. Larger changes will be priced on specification of change or addition.

Do I have access to my site files?
No - All modifications to site and site build are completed by JBAtkins Consulting. You will have no access to site files other then email.

What if I want to cancel my account?
All new accounts have a thirty day full-refund of hosting fees paid, if cancelled. If cancelled after the thirty days there is no refund but your site files will be sent to you at your request.
